Wideband 3D frequency selective rasorber based on ferrite absorber

This paper introduces a wideband 3D frequency selective rasorber based on ferrite absorbers. The ferrite absorber provides an ultra-wide absorption band, while a lossless stepped impedance resonator produces a pass-band within the absorption band. With the help of a series L-C circuit in front of the ferrite absorber, the ferrite absorber can be short-circuited within the pass-band, resulting in a low insertion loss. The proposed structure is suitable for stealthy radome applications below 1 GHz.
