Identification method of ballistic missile target based on pseudo-zernike invariant moment

Micro-motion feature is widely applied in ballistic missile target identification, as an important method. So, on the basis of time-frequency analysis of micro-motion characteristics, identification method based on PZM (pseudo-zernike invariant moment) is proposed in the article. It mainly extracts PZM of frequency image as identification feature. Firstly, one-dimensional time-domain echo signal is changed into two-dimensional time-frequency image by time-frequency analysis methods. Then the image is pre-processed to denoise. At last, the process of PZM extraction and the principle of feature are given. Through simulation, the impact of different feature combinations is analyzed and the method robustness with different SNR (signal noise ratio) is evaluated. The results show that the method is stable and can be applied in ballistic missile target identification.
