Broadcasting weather report to vehicles in urban roads

Vehicular ad hoc network is widely used to broadcast emergency, weather and road conditions among vehicles. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to transmit weather information to the vehicles which are travelling in urban areas. The system uses a set of algorithms and rules to determine dangerous weather situation on roads. It is proposed to use Weather_Forecast algorithm to predict the weather conditions on urban areas. The performance and the results of the proposed system are also discussed.
