Modeling and dynamic simulation of a thermal energy storage system by sensitive heat and latent heat

The major goal of this work consists in the modeling, dynamic simulation and optimization of a thermal energy storage device by sensitive heat and latent heat integrated in a solar absorption machine. In order to study the temperature profiles and the heat flux during the two phases “charge and discharge” and the amount of stored energy for the various materials used, the first part of this work is devoted to the resolution of the transfer equations governing the system according to the chosen geometry of the stocker, and, finally, a method is proposed to optimize the efficiency of the storage system according to the amount of energy stored and the time of the discharge phase.
