Low cost and convenient design for receiver front-end

The rise of the technology of phase array radar and digital transceiver initiates epoch of radar system. The cost and maintainability of RF front-end have been getting more attention for wide application of phase array radar. For varied frequencies used in different modes of radar, repetitive design drains on manpower and material resources. So, generalized design of RF front-end is becoming a focus issue. The article introduced a dual-channel receiver front-end, which processes the character of high image rejection, low cost, convenient assembling and generality. Based on HMIC technology, the design adopted dies and surface mounting chips to realize the dual-channel receiver in a size of 60×50×9.6mm³
