Research on high-resolution wide-swath SAR based on microwave photonics

Microwave photonics becomes a new and potential technology with the advantage of wide bandwidth, high speed and parallel processing, which can overcome the electronic bottleneck problem of traditional devices and achieve high performance. In this paper, the SAR system based on microwave photonics is proposed, which achieves high resolution and wide swath simultaneously. According to this architecture, an example of high-resolution wide-swath SAR system is designed. The simulation results prove the technical feasibility.
