A novel multiple frequence CW system for messuring range and velocity

Multiple frequency CW radar system is widely used in velocity measurement, range measurement and low altitude surveillance from abroad. Many theoretical researches have been reported about it. In this paper, a novel CW radar system is introduced that adopts new wave design and a single receiver in combination with transmitting multiple frequencies sequentially, which avoid interference when an echo comes in another receiver. At same time it simplifies the structure. Parameter selection brings much convenience for calculation. The article also analyzes measurement precision, put forward frequency selection and resolving range algorithm.
