Multi-objective optimization of IPMSM based on subspace division

Recently the multi-objective optimization of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) used for Electrical Vehicles (EVs) has attracted widely attention. However, it not only suffers from its lower optimization efficiency, but also is difficult to achieve the optimal solution. Therefore, an effective multi-objective optimization design scheme is presented which innovatively integrates Taguchi method, sequential subspace optimization method (SSOM) with differential Evolution (De) algorithm by using VB script. Moreover, a 50 KW IPMSM is investigated by finite element analysis (FEA) to validate its technical advantages and satisfactory optimization benefits.
