Understanding ADC in sensors in IoT & adjusting PWM duty cycle using potentiometer with EDUX1002G oscilloscope & Keysight U3800A

With the rapid development of emerging wireless technologies, we can see the importance of the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT is a concept of connecting everything to everywhere at all times. Essential properties of IoT involve not only database and gateway communication, but also sensor communication. This paper introduces the basic approach of understanding how analog digital conversion works for analog sensors, by using the Keysight U3800A IoT development kit. This concept can also be visualized by using pulse width modulation output on the Keysight U3800A with the Keysight EDUX1002G oscilloscope.
