Hybrid Electric Car Fuel Consumption Optimization Research Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm

Hybrid electric car fuel consumption optimization based on fuzzy control strategy has strong subjective dependence, and the control results cannot reach the most optimal value. So a kind of improved genetic algorithm is introduced into optimization of control rule. According to genetic algorithm theory, the vehicle fuel consumption and emissions are taken as the objective function and fitness function is determined by weighting method. In order to simplify the coding method for genetic operation process, decimal integer coding method is used for variable encoding of rules. The optimization control strategy model is imported into vehicle model for simulation. The results show that the optimized control strategy based on improved genetic algorithm has better performance than basic genetic algorithm.
