The ETC User Demand Forecast Analysis of Expressway Based on Traffic Data

Expressway traffic data records the time, location, model, license plate and other information vehicles entering and leaving the expressway toll station, which easy access to information, content integrity, timeliness strong, unified format, high accuracy, and the basic realization of a complete centralized storage. On the basis of Tianjin expressway traffic data, this paper according to the license plate for retrieval, with the aid of computer program analyses the vehicle number of MTC and ETC lane, fully exploit the features of the MTC travel lanes and ETC lane vehicles, combined with the ETC installation will survey to determine the potential scale of ETC users Tianjin in the future. The research results of this paper can be ETC development goals to provide a basis for formulating, and in order to improve ETC ratio and ease traffic congestion expressway toll station to provide reference for making policy.
