Maintenance decision of door system based on PHM-assisted RCM

The door system is the key systems for the safety of urban rail vehicles. In the urban rail vehicle system, the failure of the door system accounts for more than 30% of the total failure of the vehicle system, in order to overcome the subjectivity of the traditional reliability-based door maintenance (RCM) method, a new method of maintenance decision for RCM based on Proportional Hazard Model (PHM) is proposed. First of all, provide preliminary maintenance decisions for the door by traditional RCM method. Then the proportional hazards model is introduced by considering the life cycle of key components, and the proportional hazards model of the door system is established. Finally, the proportional risk model is applied to the decision-making of RCM door maintenance, and repair interval of the door system is obtained. The case analysis indicates that maintenance cycle gotten by the proposed method is more reasonable than traditional RCM method.
