Study of reentry guidance based on analytical predictor-corrector for aerospace vehicle

For the aerospace vehicle reentry problem, a guidance approach based on analytical predictor-corrector is proposed. In this approach, the guidance is divided into two parts: longitudinal guidance and lateral guidance. In the lateral guidance, a lateral threshold based on heading error is proposed to determine the sign of bank angle. In the longitudinal guidance, analytical mathematical formulas of range-to-go and sensitivity are established. Based the drag accelerating was estimated, the precision of final high and speed was improved. The simulation results of the reentry guidance with initial dispersion demonstrate the robustness of the proposed algorithm.
