Power system transient stability with SMES controlled by Artificial Intelligent Techniques

This paper assesses various approaches for transient stability improvement in power system using Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) with modern controllers such as Artificial Intelligent Techniques (AIT) and robust controllers. A comparative study has been done between these controllers and their advantages/ disadvantages are also discussed.
