Phased array radar task scheduling by priority assignment based on Gaussian Process

This paper presents a task priority assignment model based on Gaussian Process (GP) multitask classification which resolve the problem of phased array radar resource scheduling in complex electromagnetic environment. According to the work mode and task of the phased array radar, a task model on GP multitask classifier was established and used to preprocess the factors of amount, position of geometry center and polarimetric characteristics and et al to obtain the task priority. To overcome the weakness of classical scheduling algorithm, a novel task scheduling algorithm is provided which is based on Gaussian Process multitask classification. Experimental result showed the method can effectively improve the performance of the radar scheduler compared with the traditional methods and make the task scheduling more feasible and practical.
