Communication with autistic people through wearable sensors and cloud technology

People who suffer from autism often experience internal overload that is not visible from outside and this causes a number of challenges in their learning interests and also mutual interactions. For example, a person's heart rate in resting state might be twice higher than the heart rate for the same age in non-autistic one. However, from outside, an autistic person looks quiet and comfortable. The gap between what happens inside and what is seen from outside, accompanied by challenges in talking and comparison, all could cause critical conditions. And it is a crisis that may seem suddenly formed, but in fact, it is built through the time. This paper introduces an architecture which is performed using smart wearable devices and cloud technology for emotional interactions with autistic people. This architecture consists of three parts including joint collection of data through devices in four-dimensional space of speech, video, physiological and social, emotional analysis and developed prediction models and finally, controllable emotional feedback. The introduced architecture could be considered as a practical approach based on smart clothing which is utilized for emotional interactions between man and machine.
