3D Printer FABLAB for Students at POLITEHNICA University Timisoara

This paper is a study of the necessary equipment to make a laboratory in which 3D components are generated for students. The paper intends to be a study of the required components for a laboratory, based on the following two criteria. Firstly, the study concentrates on lowering the costs of the components. Secondly, it aims to generate the parts from recycled plastic via a heightened level of economic efficiency. Furthermore, this paper is concerned with an efficient transfer of knowledge from teacher to students. The study is made from the viewpoint of the software used to generated the parts and, at the same time, it covers the principles presented in the didactic process.
