PSpice discharge model for simulation circuits with lead-acid battery

In this paper is presented a model for Pspice simulation of circuits that included lead-acid battery in their structure. Based on the discharging characteristics and operation principles of the Lead-Acid battery, the equivalent Pspice model was implemented by using voltage controlled-voltage sources in order to describe the battery behavior based of the its state-of-charge and capacitor in order to model the battery capacity in open circuit. This model can be used in order to evaluate the maximum time in which a battery can supply an electronic circuit.
