Digital closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope design based on the FPGA

In view of the interference type closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope, in the process of digital processing, logic circuit is the key to the whole system. This paper adopts a logic circuit control method based on FPGA. FPGA is used to produce square wave modulation signal with digital phase ladder wave feedback signal through D/A converter, the sum of the input to the gain control circuit, the gain control circuit to adjust gain margin to add after a multifunction integrated optical chip arm, realization of the full digital closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope. Results show that the digital processing technology based on FPGA fiber optic gyro, high reliability, fast operation and reaction, and small volume, light weight, low consumption, particularly suitable for gyro miniaturization, lightweight requirements.
