A new electric vehicle charging station based on pulse current charging method

Many serious challenges are still ongoing to the implementation of electric vehicles. A technical challenge is how to provide an excellent fast charging service for electric vehicles in public places. To have an excellent fast charging service, pulse current charging method, which has big advantages in comparison with constant current charging method, has been selected. The purpose of the present study is to design a charging station having two fast charging ports based on pulse current charging method. The practical and simulation results confirm that the charging station works correctly.
