Efficient star nodes discovery algorithm in social networks based on acquaintance immunization

The advertising effect of celebrities is very clear. Celebrities can attract numerous fans and play roles of opinion leaders in their social networks, and be capable of exerting great influence on their fans. These celebrity nodes in social networks are called star nodes. Aiming at mining these valuable objective nodes in social network to satisfy the request that the advertising cost could be saved dramatically for e-commerce enterprises, based on acquaintance immunization and its local information feature, a star nodes discovery algorithm is proposed, and its plausibility has been proved by experiments.
