Design of highly directional CPW-FED UWB antenna

In this paper a new antenna design using coplanar waveguide (CPW) suitable for Ultra Wide band (UWB) communication. It consists of two ground planes etched on the both side of the radiator. A ground plane having the slot structure. i.e. partial ground. By using a circle shaped radiator with rectangular cut provides much impedance bandwidth. This antenna has a better return loss less than -10 dB for operating frequency of 7 GHz. The S11 and VSWR are simulated using HFSS.
