Classification of methods and models in system analysis

Formalized definition of the concept of ≪model≫ is proposed, a brief analysis of the existing approaches in the classification of systems' models is represented, due to the concept of models' classification based on methods of modeling. Approaches and methods of modeling and the structure of proposed classification are described. Methods presented are divided in methods for formalization of presentation of systems (MFPS) and methods, which activate an intuition and experience of specialists (MAIS). Singular classes for allocation of methods and approaches in modeling, based on combination of MAIS and MFPS, are offered. Specific classes of models based on the Artificial intelligence theory, based on Nature principles, based on information approach in the analysis of systems, as well as models, which use extracting of knowledge, are considered. Proposed classification of models must help in selection of methods for modeling.
