Standards, regulations and legal aspects Live Working and International Standards: Application to electrical systems and installations

The international standards on live working published mainly by IEC or CENELEC TC 78 are used either in electrical systems and installations since number of years. They are regularly maintained and updated. The subject of this presentation is to underline the number of subjects covered already today from the basic training up to the final use. From each domain a list of standards with their official titles will be presented and illustrated by some photographs. If some tool, device and equipment are not covered by the preceding list of standards, companies could use their own specification based on the safety principles developed in these international standards.
