Development of deep water technology as it relates to future salvage

At a time when technology in deep water research has made tremendous progress, the author will review the options available in deep water archeology and treasure salvage in terms of survey, identification and recovery. This paper will cover not only diving but also various other equipment including tethered and/or untethered ROVs, manned submersibles, and support vessels.
