The digitalization of analog sidelobe canceller by oridinary differential equations

A digital sidelobe cancelling technique is realized by converting gain and low pass filter components into a system of ordinary differential equations in Howells-Applebaum implementation of multiple sidelobe cancellers. In the conversion of a single analog sidelobe canceller into a digital sidelobe canceller, the formulation and utilization of ordinary differential equations are illustrated. It is then noted that the conversion of multiple sidelobe cancellers requires more than a mere extension of the technique used for the conversion of a single analog sidelobe cancelling into the digital one. This is elaborated for a formation of a target and two jammers.
