Wireless monitoring of mouse by ultra-small and low power implantable sensor node

This paper presents the development and implantation of an ultra-small wireless sensor node with low power consumption for body temperature monitoring of a `white mouse'. Feasibility of the sensor and bio-compatibility of the package were investigated and discussed. Performance of the sensor node was then evaluated. The results demonstrated that more accurate bio-logical information can be obtained when compared to wearable devices, which is essential to advance the innovation of medical technologies as well as for promoting the creation of smart healthcare and new food industry.
