Invisible antennas using mesoscale conductive polymer wires embedded within OLED displays

An efficient, optically invisible antenna applied on the touch OLED display panel is presented and demonstrated for the first time in literature. A transverse magnetic (TM
₀₁
) patch antenna is devised at 2.45 GHz on the display panel surface of a real-life smartwatch device and its radiation properties, optical visibility and touch functions are investigated.
