Fundus image vessel segmentation using PCNN model

Retinal vessel is major role of nourishing the retina. The earlier retinal analyses help in diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and major cardiovascular diseases. There are several algorithms are proposed in recent literature for segmentation of retinal vessel. Here we are proposing Pulse Coupled Neural Network (PCNN) where utilizing all advantages of unsupervised methods. PCNN is a single layered neural network. While not considering the no.of parameters of PCNN it gives better result. The images are taken from DRIVE database.
