Test bed for Link Quality Assessment in Wireless Ad hoc Sensor Network

Link quality assessment is one of the basic components in designing of routing protocols with topology control in Wireless Ad hoc Sensor Networks (WASNs). Various types of link quality valuation and assessment techniques have been placed in different literatures. Analyzing Link Quality in packet routing with hands on devices is very important to the design different operations of WASNs. In this paper, it has been presented a Link Quality Assessment (LQA), through a Test-bed for the assessment of link quality to analyze in different real time environment and topological settings. This Test-bed also provides an idea of battery energy consumption pattern respect to different real time network scenarios. This experiment can be useful in understanding of the characteristics and behavior of low-power links in WASNs and help designers in suitable protocol design.
