Highly reliable information network for distributed control systems

The article offers a new architecture of the data bus for digital control system that satisfies the most modern requirements and is designed for use in mechatronic systems. On the physical layer, the new bus is compatible with RS-485 and Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps standards. A high level of fault tolerance on the architecture level supports various methods of redundancy devices and cabling. High accuracy is achieved by synchronizing the devices by feedback on transport delays at the bus, and a small amount of cabling by the use of half-duplex transmission. One of the key features provided by the tire is a possibility of realization of slaves on FPGA with low-logic capacity.
