The original patented corona multithreaded electrode, for rotating cylinder electroseparators

This paper presents an original multithreaded corona electrode, OSIM patented, for the endowment of the electroseparators with rotating cylinder. By construction, the new type of electrode ensures an extension of the intense electric field on an adjustable surface, parallel to the grounded rotating cylinder. For this type of electrode, the volt - ampere characteristic was experimentally drawn and the electrode behavior in intense electric field was studied using the Maxwell 14.0 2D program. This new type of electrode, experimentally ensures a superior quality of the electroseparation products.
