Keynote speaker: Computer aided diagnostics in medicine: Discrimination for some lung diseases

Medical imaging technology has revolved tremendously to provide excellent imaging techniques to assist the medical practitioners in their diagnosis. However, too many medical images also put a lot of burden to them especially to the radiologists. Therefore, the needs arise to aid the radiologists have resulted in many research are currently ongoing in development of computer aided diagnostics by making use of latest the computational method. The development and the success of the computer-aided diagnostics will be presented. The current work of the speaker in developing a computer aided diagnostics system for lung disease mass screening is also discussed.
