Analytical study and realization of microstrip parallel coupled bandpass filter at 2 GHz

Microstrip filter is the essential part in the present era of communication system. This paper presents mathematical and analytical study of the microstrip band pass filter designed for 2 GHz. The filter design was simulated using Computer simulation technology (CST) software and result of this filter was analyzed for better performance. The performance parameters are achieved for this filter such as insertion loss of -1.54 dB and reflection loss of -34 dB. With the realization of this parallel coupled band pass filter on FR4 substrate the reflection parameter and insertion loss received as per the requirement. This paper describes the improvement in performance parameters which will be helpful to birding researchers to work further in this field of RF and microwave communication.
