Design and implementation of IP network traffic monitoring system

Network packet capture and analysis technology is a cornerstone of network security and protocol analysis technology. On the analysis of the LAN IP network traffic monitoring requirements, this paper detailed introduces the design ideas of traffic monitoring system based on WinPcap technology, expounds the key technologies and features in the process of system implementation, focusing on huge amounts of packet processing technology, task dependent protocol data analysis technology, and behavior decision technology based on the strategy. Tests show that the system can realize IP data flow quickly and accurately capturing and business analysis, and determining whether the business is legally and effective according to the network administrator predefined behavior strategy, and gives tips with intuitive and friendly information. The system meets the actual needs.
