Text on Oracle rubbing segmentation method based on connected domain

To separate oracle text on oracle bone rubbings from complex noise, The original rubbings were preprocessed in order to achieve preliminary segmentation from complex background, Then the threshold segmentation was performed in order to get the binary image, The segmentation method based on connected domain was taken to remove untreated noise on oracle bone rubbings and finally a good segmentation result of background and text was obtained. The experimental data in the “oracle collection” was processed based on threshold segmentation and connected domain, the result showed rubbings text can obtain a better segmentation using the method of this article.
