Protection of distributed digital content in the scope of SAT2IP server application

This paper describes an implementation of a SAT2IP server extension that supports DTCP protocol. This protocol protects distributed digital content during its transfer from the SAT2IP server to the consumer device. The implementation consists of two modules: authentication and key exchange module, and content encryption module. The main advantage of this approach is its modularity. The test and verification procedure of proposed implementation is also described. Directions for further work are also discussed.
