Synergy of fast antenna measurements and numerical modelling

The correct performance evaluation of antennas operating in complex and electrically large environments such as satellites, ships, planes, mobiles etc. or antennas in urban or indoor environments, all require large and accurate measurement facilities, breadboarding of scaled models or complex on-site measurement campaigns. As a consequence, iterations during the design cycle based on antenna breadboard measurements or on-site performance verification of the final antennas are considered unfeasible by most antenna designers.
