Characteristics and technical challenges in energy Internet cyber-physical system

With the technology of "Internet plus" gradually penetrating the energy industry, the fusion of smart grid and other energy network is now forming, which will create a new generation of high-efficiently energy utilization system called energy internet. And its complex coupling between energy flow and information flow is being to a cyber-physical system that possesses new features, i.e., Energy Internet Cyber-Physical System (EI-CPS). In several aspects, induding stochastic dynamic property of multi-energy flow, efficient and rapid information processing ability and strong-coupled feature between energy flow and information flow, this paper reveals the morphological characteristics in EI-CPS. Then, the paper focuses on modeling, analysis method and control technology which are core technology in CPS. On one hand, it introduces their present application in traditional power grid. On the other hand, based on the new characteristics in EI-CPS, these technical challenges in EI-CPS are put forward.
