Improvements and new applications of FDTD method

In this work new finite difference expressions for FDTD are derived to compute the magnetic field components in the vicinity of a doubly coated conducting plane sheet. The derivation of these expressions is based on the Faraday's law in integral form. Electric field magnitudes are computed in the presence of a doubly coated conducting plate using the newly derived expressions and compared with those of a finer FDTD mesh, good agreement between the two computations is observed.
