A comparative study and performance analysis of synchronous SEPIC Converter and synchronous Zeta Converter by using PV system with MPPT technique

A country's economic activity has a direct corelation with the energy scenario of that country. With the increase in the power demand and limited fossil fuels the renewable energy source plays a vital role to overcome these challenges. This paper presents a comparative study and performance analysis of synchronous SEPIC Converter and synchronous Zeta Converter by using PV system with MPPT technique. Both converters will operate either in buck mode or boost mode depending upon the availability of solar energy. The simulation is performed for different loads using both converters using PV system with MPPT Technique and analyzing the both the converters for separately excited DC motor [3] without PV system as input by using PSIM 9.3.
