Performance of adaptive beamforming arrays for spatial interference rejection

This paper analyzes the performance of LMS and RLS adaptive beamforming algorithms used in smart antenna systems for spatial interference rejection. Multiple criteria are used to evaluate these beamforing algorithms including number of incident signals and their angular separation, number of array sensors and their spacing. Results of numerical simulations are useful for the design smart antenna systems with optimal performance.
