Research on crossing safety protection system based on adaptive radar technology

In crossing safety protection system application background, we put forward a radar measurement technique based on adaptive filtering algorithm in order to adapt to the complex environment of level crossings. Firstly, the adaptive learning of the current environment is carried out, and the characteristic values of the noise mean and small signal disturbance are obtained; then the sampling value of I and Q channel signals are transformed to the FFT transform, and the Doppler frequency value is extracted. After the FFT transform, the data is removed from the noise and small signal perturbation, and the final velocity value is obtained by the Coalman filter approach algorithm. The comparison results show that the method is less than 1% in the measurement error and accuracy of the locomotive speed, which provides a strong technical guarantee for the safe operation of the railway system.
