Two methods for BCI probe to improve the high frequency performance

The main factors that influence the performance of the current injection probe is the core and the coil loop. First of all, considering the permeability, the paper analyzes how to choose the suitable core. Then, the methods are proposed to improve the high frequency performance of bulk current injection (BCI) probe. One is to change the way of coil loops which adopt the symmetrical parallel winding method, so that it will reduce the insertion loss of the probe by increasing the amount of change in the magnetic flux density. The other way is through the parallel resistance to reduce the total impedance of the probe in the high-frequency section, thereby to reduce the insertion loss of the probe. The two methods explore new ideas to improve the BCI probe performance and provides experimental support for the theoretical analysis.
