Optimization design for the integrated supervision and control system in the smart substations

This paper discusses the framework and function of the integrated supervision and control system in a 220kV smart substation. Researching based on the device configuration schemes and network structures of the integration system have been carried out. An optimization design and feasibility analysis are proposed, which results to the capital cost of the substation reduction, the reliability of operation and control enhancement and the human-computer interface more friendly due to the combination of devices.
