Why Train in the use of Electrical Heat Tracing?

Increasing emphasis is being placed on training for electrical equipment in hazardous (classified) areas for many reasons. The importance of training on the proper design, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous (classified) locations is often discussed, planned and prioritized, but not always carried through. A lack of knowledge and understanding is the single most influential aspect of most problems. Cost has a major impact on all project and maintenance decisions, and although some may make informed wrong decisions to save money, that is not our topic.
