Design and development of multiservice network for mobile satellite services

Satellite Communication technology offers the unique capability of simultaneously reaching out to very large numbers spread over large distances even in the most remote corners of the country. Mobile satellite services have been offered to link and complement terrestrial based cellular mobile systems and private mobile radio systems. GSAT series satellites in MSS band are proposed to be utilized for national disaster management services and for special user group (Navy, Military, etc...). So a unified multiservice network is required to access all services over common platform.
