Receding horizon integrated guidance and control for interceptors based on Gauss pseudospectral method

This paper presents a receding horizon integrated guidance and control of constrained interceptors based on Gauss pseudospectral method. An improved exponential average method is developed to predict future trajectory of target and also line of sight angular rates, then guidance and control subsystems of interceptor are integrated into a constrained nonlinear optimization problem in finite time horizon. Pseudospectral Collocation is introduced to transform the continuous optimization problem into a nonlinear programming problem on collocation points, and a novel receding horizon strategy based on it is designed to iterate the nonlinear programming problem on the whole trajectory. Scenarios against nonmaneuvering, and spiral maneuvering targets are simulated to demonstrate the performance and effectiveness of proposed approach.
