Ultrashort pulse maximum localization in multiconductor structures

Importance of research on specific aspects of ultrashort pulse propagation and signal maximum localization along the coupled lines is highlighted. Simulation of trapezoidal ultrashort pulse propagating in the turn of meander line with variation of its geometrical parameters: separation between conductors and their length has been done. Also the printed circuit board (PCB) bus of spacecraft autonomous navigation system has been considered. In case of varying separation the voltage maximum that is twice higher that the signal amplitude at the input and output and is also moving from joint to the end of the line is revealed and localized. In case of varying length the voltage maximum by half exceeding the signal amplitude at the input is revealed and localized. In the PCB bus of spacecraft autonomous navigation system the voltage maximum 2.7 times exceeding the signal amplitude at the input is revealed and localized. It is shown that maximum location is inconstant, in meander line in most cases it is in the second conductor, in some cases — in the first, while there is no maximum in conductors of certain length.
