Communication stack for generic embedded modular control system

The paper deals with the development of specific/proprietary communication protocol for generic embedded modular control system which is based on high-speed serial communication lines. The author also describes the design and the implementation of efficient communication stack for an FPGA device. The designed protocol/stack enables an effective high speed transfer of data between master and slave devices. The functionality of protocol and stack is presented by means of existing REMCS control system even though designed stack is possible to use in other projects.
